בענין חזקת אבר מן החי
תוספות מקשה על רש"י איך שייך חזקת איסור אבר מן החי לאחר מיתה , ושמעתי מרב אחד להקשות על תוס' דהרי אבר מן החי שייך גם לאחר שחיטה עד סוף זמן הפירכוס וא"כ גם לרש"י שייך חזקת איסור אבר מן החי לאחר שחיטה.
עוד הערה בענין, צ"ע מה חידש רב הונא להחמיר בספק שחיטה הרי כל ספק דאוריייתא לחומרא. ועיין פנ"י.

RE: eiver min hachai after shechita,
I don't think that is correct. The halacha is that you cannot eat an animal while it is still mifarcheses bec. of "lo sochlu al hadam" - don't eat until the life leaves it. But, there is no issur of eiver min hachai after a proper shechita. This is clear from Shulchan Aruch (Y.D. 27:1) that if you cut a limb off an animal after shechita while it is still mefarcheses, you can eat it (after it dies) and it is not considered eiver min hachai. To the exclusion of a case where you pull off the limb while it is alive and then shecht the animal, it will always remain assur bec. of eiver min hachai. Similarly, if you kill the animal (not shechita) and pull off a limb while it is mefarcheses, it will be assur bec. of eiver min hachai (shach #2). Clearly, shechita is what takes away the issur of eiver min hachai.
