rov and karov
שאלה בסוגיא דרוב וקרוב
האם דין קרוב דומה לרובא דליתא קמן? דלכאורה שניהם תלויים בסברא? אך לפ"ז צ"ע דאנן קיי"ל דרוכ עדיף מקרוב אך נ"ל קי"ל דרובא דליתא עדיף מרובא דאית לן ־ עיין שמעתתא ג פט"ו וד' פ"א
i didn't get a chance to look at the shmatsa, but tosafos in baba basra 24a says that the gemara is speaking about a ruba d'lesa kaman, and still it overrides karov. Tosafos says the ruba d'isa kaman is mefurash in the pasuk of achrei rabim l'hatos, and the gemara is mechadesh that even ruba d'lesa kaman is d'oraysa and therefore better than karov.

which overides - ruba d'isa or d'leisa? if d'leisa then why does rrov overide karov?
